The Heartbeat of
Family Praise

The Story Behind the Music

Family Praise began as a heartfelt vision within the Music Department of the Prince Emmanuel Seventh-Day Adventist Church—to use the power of music as a tool for ministry and healing.

Since 2000, what started as a single church initiative has grown into a vibrant, bi-annual concert that unites voices from over 10 churches into one harmonious choir. Each performance is more than just music; it’s a celebration of God’s love, a gathering of generations, and a reminder that faith can be felt in every note.

From concert halls to community outreaches, our journey continues to be driven by a shared passion to uplift souls and bring families together through song.

Family Praise attracts over 1000 patrons and audience to its main concerts at the National Theatre, for thrilling musical renditions.

Partnership Implications: Family Praise Choir is made up of Groups and Soloists from over 10 churches. The Family Praise Ministry also has access to over 5,000 Adventist members in Accra.

One inimitable feature of the programme is its unique blend of both the young and the very old together as one big choir of over 80 singers on the same stage, made up of over 10 singing groups and soloists from various churches.
